G M Imber & Sons Ltd. (GMISL) are a family owned insurance brokers based near Tower Bridge, London.

The company fully commenced operations on 1 January 2006 after purchasing the Insurance side (including the systems and staff) from G M Imber Ltd, who were formed in 1974. This enabled G M Imber Ltd. to run off their Reinsurance portfolio, allowing George to reduce his involvement, easing into retirement and pursuing his photographic hobby.

GMISL initially acted as appointed representatives of GMIL until they received their own full authorisation from the Financial Services Authority on 2 May 2006.

Day to day running of the business is undertaken by the three Directors and brothers Bill, Sven and Matt Imber.

What we do:

We are Commercial Insurance Brokers that can arrange either bespoke insurance packages for sole traders to national companies, we also arrange a variety of niche insurance products for certain industries.

Niche Industries that we have designed specific products for include Market, Craft, Antique industry; Musical Equipment Insurance, and Bouncy Castle Hirers. More information and forms related to these products are available on the site.

On the general insurance front we arrange cover for businesses ranging from individual plumbers to large Manufacturers; Shops to Concerts; Accountants to Art Galleries; Wholesalers to Sports Clubs to name a few. Broking all sorts of cover such as Motor Fleet, Shops, Events, Property, Business Interruption, Liability, Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers, Marine Cargo and more.
